A Warm and Windy November Sunday

Such a perfect day …

Ivor is frantically collecting kites to “increase our fleet”, and as six new items have arrived, a test was necessary. Luckily the Sunday was sunny, unusually warm for November, and windy.

Very windy.

A new trilobite joined our purple one in the sky. A shoal of fish lined themselves along the kite line, and a funnily bizarre spinner was happily spinning in the strong, gusty western wind.

A new white pilot kite is aptly named Cloudette … almost blending with her watery colleagues carried by the wind above.

Cindy delta took a camera with her and rose high into the sky, outflying every other kite, but …

… the Insta360 did not perform well, and most of the photos are lousy 🙁

It didn’t really matter, the fun on the ground continued …

The wind got even stronger, and the kites went down. A nice windy Sunday afternoon on charming Ljubljana Marshes.

And to top it all, we drove up the hill to a well-known (and secret) mushroom-picking spot, collected four parasol mushrooms for dinner – and then the night fell and the day was over.

Such a perfect day …
